In today’s knowledge-driven economy, preserving organizational knowledge and applying it effectively have become crucial in order to ensure an organization's continuity and building its competitive advantage. as a result, organizational memory has emerged as an important strategic resource. It refers to the set of knowledge, values and experiences that an organization retains over time and recalls when needed, to support its future decisions and activities, which makes it linked to knowledge management and organizational learning as well, in terms of both concept and function. This research aims to demonstrate the role of organizational memory by drawing insights from the practices of Toyota Motor Corporation, one of the most knowledge-oriented organization.
