Stock Market Development In The Algeria And Its Role In The Economy: A Comparison With The Stock Market Activity Of Tunis And Casablanca

Abstract
Financial development is of particular importance in any economy, because it allows to collect savings and channel them towards financing the most profitable investments. In this work, we are interested in the development of the Algiers Stock Exchange, after 30 years of existence. The objective of our work is to detect its role in the Algerian economy. The first results demonstrate that the Algiers Stock Exchange is still in an embryonic state, and its role remains residual and far behind the role of neighboring stock exchanges
