Abstract
Abstract: The manamat of Rukn al-Din al-Wahrani are among the most significant literary texts that blend fantastical narrative with satirical critique. Al-Wahrani employed dreams as an imaginative framework to address social and political issues in a mockingly satirical style. This approach gave his texts a unique character that combines profound criticism with entertaining fantastical storytelling. His writings go beyond mere amusement to become a critical mirror reflecting the realities of his era through refined literary expression, which explains their enduring relevance to this day. Based on the above, we pose the following research question: How did satirical critique and fantastical narrative contribute to making Rukn al-Din al-Wahrani’s maqamat more compelling and impactful? ملخص: تُعد مقامات ركن الدين الوهراني من بين أهم النصوص الأدبية التي تمزج بين السرد العجائبي والنقد الساخر، حيث وظّف الوهراني الأحلام كسياق تخيلي لطرح قضايا اجتماعية وسياسية بأسلوب تهكمي ساخر، وقد أضفى هذا التوظيف على نصوصه طابعًا فريدًا يجمع بين النقد العميق والسرد العجائبي الممتع، فنصوص ركن الدين الوهراني لا تقتصر على الترفيه، بل تتجاوز ذلك لتكون مرآة نقدية تعكس واقع عصره بأسلوب أدبي متقن، ما يجعل تأثيرها ممتدًا إلى يومنا هذا. ومن خلال ما سبق نطرح الإشكالية التالية: - كيف ساهم النقد الساخر والأسلوب العجائبي في جعل مقامات ركن الدين الوهراني أكثر جاذبية وتأثيرًا؟
