Psychological Hardiness Among Mothers Of Imprisoned Children In Tulkarm Governorate After October 7 Events And Its Relationship With Their Quality Of Life

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the level of psychological hardiness among mothers of imprisoned children in Tulkarm Governorate after the events of October 7, and its relationship to their quality of life. The descriptive correlational method was used, employing a questionnaire as the study tool. The sample consisted of 201 participants. Results showed a high level of psychological hardiness among these mothers, reaching 78.71%. Statistically significant differences were found based on educational qualification and employment status, while no significant differences were observed based on age. In light of these findings, several recommendations were proposed, including establishing specialized psychological and social support programs for mothers of imprisoned children and providing counseling sessions with mental health professionals. Keywords: psychological hardiness, quality of life, imprisoned children هدفت الدراسة فحص مستوى الصلابة النفسية لدى أمهات الأطفال الأسرى في محافظة طولكرم عقب أحداث السابع من أكتوبر، وعلاقتها بجودة حياتهن. استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، باستخدام الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة. وتكونت العينة من 201 مفردة. وأظهرت النتائج ارتفاع مستوى الصلابة النفسية لدى هؤلاء الأمهات، حيث بلغ 78.71%. كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لمتغيري المؤهل العلمي والحالة الوظيفية، في حين لم تظهر فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لمتغير العمر. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، تم اقتراح عدة توصيات، منها إنشاء برامج دعم نفسي واجتماعي متخصصة لأمهات الأطفال الأسرى، وتوفير جلسات إرشادية مع أخصائيين في الصحة النفسية،.
