Abstract
Abstract: Diving into the history of the Algerian desert, especially its southeastern part during the French colonial era, necessitates us, as researchers, to delve into the history of resistances and their prominent leaders. The subject of this research is a model among the leaders of resistance movements that has been extensively discussed, yet remains shrouded in ambiguity—the figure of Cherif Mohamed Ben Abdallah, who led his revolution with the concept of Jihad, after being deeply influenced by the ideas of Sheikh Mohamed Ben Ali al-Sanusi. Through a historical, descriptive, comparative, and analytical approach, this study aims to uncover the truth about the relationship between the Cherif and the Sanusi order and to elucidate the extent of the ambiguity that still exists. Who was Cherif Mohamed Ben Abdallah, and what was the nature of his relationship with the Sanusi order? ملخص: عندما نغوص في تاريخ صحراء الجزائر وخاصة الجنوب الشرقي منها إبان الاستدمار الفرنسي ،فلا بد لنا كباحثين أن نقرأ عن تاريخ المقاومات وأبرز زعاماتها. فما موضوع البحث إلا نموذج من نماذج زعماء المقاومات الذي سال فيه الحبر الكثير ولكن مع ذلك مازال الغموض يكتنفها ألا وهي شخصية الشريف محمد بن عبد الله الذي قاد ثورته بفكرة الجهاد بعدما تشبع بأفكار الشيخ محمد بن علي السنوسي.من خلال أسلوب تاريخي وصفي للأحداث ومقارن وتحليلي للوصول لحقيقة العلاقة بين الشريف والطريقة السنوسية وبيان مدى الغموض الذي ما يزال قائما. فمن يكون الشريف محمد بن عبد الله؟ وما طبيعة العلاقة التي جمعته بالطريقة السنوسية؟
