Abstract: This study examines the crucial role of consumer protection associations in Algeria in strengthening consumer awareness and trust in the marketplace. Using qualitative interviews with representatives from three associations and NVivo-based analysis, it explores their communication strategies, efficiency, and collaboration with public authorities. Findings reveal their efforts in awareness campaigns, educational outreach, and consumer assistance regarding product and service issues. Case insights illustrate their contribution to consumer empowerment and confidence. Despite notable achievements, challenges remain in coordination and visibility. The research proposes practical recommendations to enhance outreach and impact, emphasizing the importance of organized consumer advocacy in fostering a more informed and and trustworthy market environment in Algeria.
