This study focused on several key axes to understand the dynamics of training in comprehensive journalism within Algerian media. We explored the level of awareness and interest of Algerian journalists in this field, as well as their readiness to learn and acquire new skills and techniques. This was achieved through a field study conducted on a sample of journalists in Constantine Province. After the field study and both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data, we reached several conclusions. Most notably, there is a significant gap in Algerian journalists' knowledge of the concept of comprehensive journalism. Nevertheless, they emphasize the necessity and importance of training in this field and express willingness to do so. In contrast, most media institutions show little interest in training journalists in comprehensive journalism, as evidenced by the lack of initiatives aimed at equipping them.
