معضلة الغش العلمي لدى مؤسسات التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي

الملخص
يعتبر غشا علميا كل فعل مناف للنزاهة العلمية ومبادئ البحث العلمي وأخلاقياته، وهو الظاهرة التي تعدّ ورما خبيثا ينخر جسد المجتمع الأكاديمي بالنظر إلى الآثار الوخيمة التي يتركها في المجتمع عموما، وهو ناتج عن أسباب عدّة، منها المهنية كالتطور التكنولوجي وضيق الوقت المخصص لإنجاز البحث وضعف التكوين المنهجي للطالب، ومنها الأخلاقية كضعف الوازع الديني والأخلاقي والسعي إلى الترقيات والألقاب والمنح وتسطيح البحث العلمي والخمول الفكري وأيضا تكريس ثقافة الإفلات من العقاب، ومن دون شك فإن لهذه الأسباب آثارا سلبية على المجتمع، يذكر منها تدني قيمة الألقاب والرتب العلمية، تردّي مستوى الطلبة علميا وأخلاقيا إلى جانب إنعدام جدوى البحث العلمي. Academic misconduct encompasses any act that contradicts scientific integrity and violates the principles and ethics of research. It is a phenomenon considered malignant threat undermining the very fabric of the academic community, given the severe consequences it leaves on society as a whole. The phenomenon arises from many causes: professional reasons, such as the widespread use of technology, limited time allocated for completing research, research-related difficulties, and lack of methodological training of students; and ethical factors, including the weakening of religious and moral deterrents, the pursuit of promotions, titles, and grants, professional negligence, intellectual stagnation, and the trivialization of scholarly research, in addition to the entrenchment of a culture of impunity and the growing spirit of tolerance towards such acts. Without doubt, these causes generate detrimental effects on society, including the devaluation of academic degrees and ranks, the decline of students’ academic and moral standards, and the loss of the real purpose and credibility of scientific research.
