Quand Le Corps Raconte : Du Langage Cinématographique Au Design émotionnel

Auteurs : Souabni Meriem .

Body language, at the crossroads of cinema and design, is a powerful vehicle for emotion and immersion. This article explores how the body—through gestures, postures, and micro-expressions—becomes a central narrative tool on screen. Initially rooted in silent cinema and later amplified by animation, this visual language fosters an immediate and universal sensory experience. In parallel, emotional design and UX draw inspiration from this expressiveness to create more intuitive and engaging interfaces. Through case studies such as « The Lion King » (1994), « Inside Out » (2015), and « The Triplets of Belleville » (2003), the article highlights the convergence between visual storytelling and sensitive interaction. Thus, the body, as an interface, transcends words and connects the viewer to the image in an embodied experience.
