This paper examines first-year L.M.D students’ use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to enhance their Received Pronunciation (RP). Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combined a structured classroom observation with a reflective questionnaire to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse quantitative data, while thematic description was used for qualitative data. The study demonstrated that students frequently use ICT tools in task-oriented situations, neglecting self-paced use, which promotes fluency. The results, then, revealed that although students’ use of these tools facilitates focused Received Pronunciation practice, it doesn’t have long-term effects on pronunciation fluency unless used appropriately as part of self-autonomous learning. To address this gap, students should be provided with digital literacy to understand the methodological and strategic use of ICT tools, enabling them to achieve broader and long-term educational goals.
