الملخص
تعد رواية **"اللاز" للطاهر وطار** من أبرز الأعمال التي عالجت وتطرّقت للاستعمار الفرنسي وتأثيره على المجتمع الجزائري. من خلال شخصية اللاز، تُقدَّم صورة مزدوجة للمجرم: ينظر إليه بأنّه خائن في الظاهر، لكنه في العمق ضحية ظروف قاسية. تعكس الرواية التوتر بين الولاء والخيانة، وتكشف كيف يصنع الاستعمار والقهر خونة وظالمين. كما تُبرز وجود متعاونين مع المستعمر، مثل بعطوش، مما يجسد الصراع الداخلي والتحديات الأخلاقية التي رافقت الثورة. بذلك، تُظهر الرواية أن مفهومي الجريمة والبراءة نسبيان، وتفتح أفقًا لفهم تعقيدات الهوية والولاء في سياق الاستعمار. The novel *"Al-Laz"* by Tahar Wattar is one of the most prominent works addressing the French colonization and its impact on Algerian society. Through the character of Al-Laz, a dual image of the criminal is presented: outwardly perceived as a traitor, but in essence, a victim of harsh circumstances. The novel reflects the tension between loyalty and betrayal, revealing how colonialism and oppression create traitors and oppressors. It also highlights the presence of collaborators with the colonizer, such as Baatouche, embodying the internal conflicts and moral challenges that accompanied the Algerian Revolution. Thus, the novel demonstrates that the concepts of crime and innocence are relative, opening a horizon for understanding the complexities of identity and loyalty in the context of colonialism .
