الملخص
كان آل محتاج في البداية مجرد حكام محليين بإقليم الصغانيان، غير انهم تمكنوا مع مرور الوقت من تثبيت إسمهم كاسرة فاعلة في تاريخ الدولة السامانية يتناول المقال الأعمال السياسية والعسكرية لأبي علي الصغاني الذي أوصل آل محتاج إلى ذروة مجدهم السياسي والعسكري وتولى منصب قائد الجيوش السامانية. رغم دور أبي علي المؤثر في تثبيت سلطة السامانيين وتوسيع رقعة دولتهم، إلا أن خلافه معهم أدى إلى تمرده عليهم والتحالف مع أعدائهم. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن تمرد أبي علي كان له دور محوري في إضعاف قوة الدولة السامانية، وإلى فشل سياستهم في الاعتماد على الأسر المحلية الحاكمة. Al-Muhtaj family were initially merely local rulers in the Saghanian region. However, over time, they established themselves as an influential family in the history of the Samanid state. This article examines the political and military activities of Abu Ali Chaghani, who brought the Al-Muhtaj family to the height of their political and military glory and assumed the position of commander of the Samanid armies. Despite Abu Ali's influential role in consolidating Samanid authority and expanding their influence, his disagreement with them led to his rebellion and alliance with their enemies. The study concludes that Abu Ali's rebellion played a pivotal role in weakening the power of the Samanid state and the failure of their policy of relying on local ruling families.
