Abstract: This research examines the fall of Granada in the late 15th century as a decisive turning point that ended the Islamic presence in al-Andalus after eight centuries of cultural and political prosperity. It focuses on the historical and political conditions preceding the fall, such as the weakness of the Nasrid Kingdom and the growing power of the Christian kingdoms in the north. The study also highlights the internal and external alliances that contributed to weakening the Islamic position. It further explores the religious and cultural dimensions of losing the last Islamic stronghold in al-Andalus, marking the end of an era and the beginning of Christian dominance. The findings show that the fall was not merely a military or political event but a comprehensive civilizational shift that led to the displacement of Muslims and the erasure of their identity. Finally, the research concludes that accumulated internal weakness and division, along with the Christian Reconquista strategy, were the decisive factors behind this collapse
