- Participatory Governance: A Strategy To Promote Ecotourism In El Kala Reserve - Analytical Approach Using The Extended Swot Matrix

Abstract

This study aims to provide an analytical approach to promoting ecotourism in the El Kala Reserve through the adoption of a participatory governance model. Using the extended SWOT matrix, the search uncovers the reserve's unique strengths and capabilities, while identifying internal weaknesses and external threats that hinder its development. The study emphasises that involving local communities and stakeholders in the planning and decision-making process is not just an administrative choice, but a strategic necessity to achieve sustainable development. This approach provides a practical framework that transforms challenges into opportunities and seeks to establish a leading ecotourism model in the region, where conservation efforts are integrated with the economic and social benefits of the residents تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم مقاربة تحليلية لتعزيز السياحة البيئية في محمية القالة، من خلال تبني نموذج الحوكمة التشاركية. باستخدام مصفوفة SWOT الموسعة، يكشف البحث عن نقاط القوة والإمكانيات الفريدة للمحمية، ويحدد في الوقت نفسه نقاط الضعف الداخلية والتهديدات الخارجية التي تعيق تنميتها. تؤكد الدراسة أن إشراك المجتمعات المحلية وأصحاب المصلحة في عملية التخطيط وصنع القرار ليس مجرد خيار إداري، بل ضرورة استراتيجية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة. تقدم هذه المقاربة إطارًا عمليًا يُحوّل التحديات إلى فرص، ويسعى إلى تأسيس نموذج رائد للسياحة البيئية في المنطقة، حيث تتكامل جهود الحفظ مع تحقيق المنفعة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للسكان.
