Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of economic policy instruments—namely government spending, money supply, and the exchange rate—on Algeria’s gross domestic product (GDP) during the period 2000–2024. The analysis employs the ARDL model to estimate both short- and long-term relationships, anchoring the results within the theoretical framework of the IS–LM–BP model. The findings indicate the existence of a long-term equilibrium relationship among the variables. Both government spending and the money supply have a positive and statistically significant impact on growth, whereas the exchange rate shows a limited effect. The error correction term demonstrates the economy’s capacity to return to equilibrium following short-term shocks. These results affirm the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policies in stimulating growth, while underscoring the necessity of enhancing external sector stability to achieve sustainable macroeconomic equilibrium.
