The Algerian Women From Struggle To Emancipation

Authors : Kadi Nawal .

Abstract

There is no doubt that the presence of Algerian women as a strong figure in Algerian society constitutes a decisive point in the social and economic changes that Algeria has been experiencing since sixty years of its liberation. Algerian women's ability to keep pace with development is widely recognized as a testament to their significant role in various fields, including family, work, and political life. The role of women in Algerian society, their significant impact on the ongoing changes, and their readiness to participate in the workforce at the same level as men are significant indicators. Thus, this article focuses specifically on highlighting the status and role of women, as well as the preparedness of the Algerian state to support this idea. On the other hand, it also addresses the various obstacles that impede the implementation of policies and procedures aimed at emphasizing and promoting the role of Algerian women, as outlined in international agreements.
