The first thing we draw attention to in this summary is that the subject of our article is related to our field of research in the study of ancient Arabic literature - from 150 before the Hijra to 1041 AH - and also delving into the sources of sciences related to ancient Arabic literature, such as philosophy, criticism, rhetoric, grammar, morphology, music, and prosody, and anything that can contribute to the specialization, whether closely or distantly, and similarly enriches the article's subject in content and form. The second aspect we focus on in this subject is that it pertains to a nation that established a state with a global civilization, one of the most ancient and robust human civilizations throughout human history. This civilization resulted in scientific and intellectual flourishing, including literary achievements in a period noted by contemporary historians such as: Al-Qalasadi in his travelog, Al-Ghibrini in "Title of Knowledge," Al-Tanisi in "Nizam al-Durr," Al-Abdari in his travelog, Lisan al-Din Ibn al-Khatib in "Al-Ihata fi Akhbar Granada," Ibn Khaldun in "Bughiyat al-Rawad," his brother Abdul Rahman in his introduction, and Ahmad al-Maqri in "Nafh al-Tayyib"; and other historians and specialists mention three centuries and more. In the past, Algeria witnessed a literature of quality, beauty, and art that rises to the level of a heritage of ancient Arabic poetry, an authentic Algerian one, in the forms of ancient Arabic poetry, both modern and old, such as zajal, muwashshah, khammas, vertical, rajaz, musammat, maqta, qasidah, nutfa, baytayn, and bayt, all related to all purposes of speech, modern to Algerian poetry, and similarly ancient ones: tallal, wasf, nasib, ghazal, madih, ritha, fakhr, hijaa, istinjad, istighatha, zuhd, tasawwuf, and even philosophical at the highest intellectual, cognitive, mental, and scientific levels; and this poetry has the power to captivate minds and steal hearts with its artistry and beauty, characteristics that ancient Arabic poetry in the Maghreb, Andalusia, and the Mashriq were known for.
