The Importance Of Small-sided Games In Developing Technical And Tactical Aspects And Improving The Physical Abilities Of Football Players

This article , through a theoretical approach, aims to reveal the significant advantages of using Small-Sided Games in football training, given their context and conditions that mimic real-life competitive football performances. It should be noted that the exclusive use of these games in daily training may not address some aspects of the multidimensional physical demands football imposes on the player, particularly those related to high intensity and fast running, or, conversely, factors affecting player safety. Mini-games can be designed with various objectives in mind: technical, tactical, strategic, physiological, and psychological. The advantage is that all these dimensions are intertwined, impacting them to varying degrees simultaneously and in a comprehensive manner.
