Abstract: E-contract is deemed the main instrument of e-commerce; however, the e-consumer encounters numerous risks stemming from the merchant, who embodies the opposing party in the contractual relationship, often exhibiting fraudulent and deceptive conduct towards the consumer, the weaker party. The online presentation of products or services often features significant exaggeration in advertising, which considerably impacts consumer orientation, particularly given the Internet's extensive reach, influence, promotional capabilities, and rapid accessibility. This necessitates protecting the e-consumer from fraud and deception encountered in e-contracts.
