الملخص
تُعد منطقة الساحل الإفريقي إحدى أكثر المناطق هشاشة على الصعيد الأمني والسياسي، حيث تواجه دولها الكثير من التحديات المركبة والمتشابكة التي تؤثر على استقرارها وتنميتها، هذه الأوضاع أقحمت التدخلات الأجنبية، خصوصًا العسكرية والأمنية، كعامل رئيسي في المشهد الإقليمي، سواء عبر محاربة الجماعات المسلحة أو عبر مشاريع التنمية. ومع ذلك، فإن هذه التدخلات لم تكن دائمًا ناجعة، بل أحيانًا زادت من تعقيد الأوضاع وأدت إلى توترات متواصلة. إذ يغذي التنافس الدولي حول النفوذ مصالح القوى الكبرى مثل فرنسا والولايات المتحدة وروسيا والصين، فتأخذ كل منها مسارات مختلفة في دعم أو توجيه الحكومات المحلية، هذه الأوضاع تتفاعل مع تحديات داخلية كالفساد وتفكك مؤسسات الدولة والنزاعات العرقية والموارد الطبيعية المحدودة، مما يعمّق من أزمات الأمن في بلاد الساحل، وهو ما تحاول هذه الدراسة أن تناقشه، من خلال استكشاف علاقة التأثير والتأثر بين المتغير الأجنبي وبين منطقة الساحل، وانعكاساتها الجيوسياسية. The Sahel region of Africa is considered one of the most fragile areas in terms of security and political stability, as its countries face numerous complex and intertwined challenges that affect their stability and development. These conditions have invited foreign interventions, especially military and security-related, which have become a primary factor in the regional landscape, whether through combating armed groups or supporting development projects. However, these interventions have not always been effective; at times, they have exacerbated complexities and led to persistent tensions. International competition for influence fuels the interests of major powers such as France, the United States, Russia, and China, each adopting distinct approaches in supporting or directing local governments. These dynamics interact with internal challenges like corruption, institutional fragmentation, ethnic conflicts, and limited natural resources, further deepening the security crises in the Sahel. This study aims to discuss this interplay between foreign influence and the Sahel region and its geopolitical repercussions.
