Abstract

Developing countries utilize various economic policies to boost international trade and foster economic growth. These encompass export promotion initiatives like trade fairs, export financing, and market information dissemination, crucial for companies entering global markets. Governments support exporters through subsidies, tax exemptions, and credit guarantees, while favorable regulatory policies, such as border tax agreements, enhance trade fluidity for businesses of all sizes. The success of these policies hinges on specific activities, robust institutional frameworks, and broader macroeconomic strategies, particularly benefiting SMEs. This study examines the rapid evolution of global communications, focusing on strategic initiatives for growth and sustainability. Singapore's Global Telecommunications Program (GTP) serves as a case study, highlighting Singapore's progress and the challenges Algeria faces in developing its strategic telecom sector. The research analyzes GTP's components, policy framework, sectoral impact, and its role in promoting export growth, job creation, and global. competitiveness, especially during economic crises. Insights from successful programs like GTP offer valuable lessons for countries like Algeria aiming to expand their export base and thrive in international markets
