From Financial Innovation To Environmental Transformation: A Bibliometric Study On The Role Of Green Financial Technology In Achieving Sustainable Development

Abstract
The study addresses the role of green financial technology as a strategic mechanism for achieving sustainable development, through a bibliometric analysis of Scopus-based research (2015–2025) using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix. The results revealed a gradual growth in scientific output followed by a surge between 2022 and 2024, identifying seven subfields covering green finance, sustainable development, and renewable energy, with emerging key themes such as green bonds. China, India, and the United States led in scientific impact, with Chinese universities as major research hubs. The study recommends developing regulatory frameworks, enhancing digital infrastructure, and strengthening international cooperation to ensure sustainability
