Entrepreneurial education in the social sciences cultivates an enterprising mindset that moves learners beyond conventional frames of thinking and practice. By linking theory to lived realities, it stimulates initiative, creativity, and innovative approaches to addressing social problems. The curriculum emphasizes intra- and interpersonal capabilities—autonomy, teamwork, communication, ethical judgment, and decision-making—so that students and researchers act as agents rather than passive recipients of knowledge. Pedagogies such as problem-based learning, community-engaged projects, design thinking, and lean experimentation foster opportunity recognition, resource mobilization, and reflective practice. The approach also prioritizes applied research that contributes to local development, strengthens university–society linkages, and generates scalable, context-sensitive solutions. Assessment focuses on competencies, prototypes, and societal impact, not only theoretical mastery. Ultimately, entrepreneurial education equips social scientists to build ventures, programs, and policies that enhance inclusion, resilience, and sustainability, positioning the researcher as a catalyst of socioeconomic change and a responsible innovator within civic and market ecosystems.
