Abstract The subject of the tajmaεt has been the focus of numerous studies, but none of them links it to the issue of territorial governance. This article addresses the possibility of overcoming the governance crisis through the reactivation of an updated institutional heritage. Using a dynamic diachronic perspective, it aims to verify hypothesis of a positive correlation, in the context of Kabylia, between the reactivation of local institutional heritage, particularly the tajmaεt as a tool for territorial governance, and the successful transition from a state of multidimensional crisis to sustainable development through solidarity-based regulation and empowerment. La question de la tajmaat a fait l’objet de nombreuses études, mais aucune ne la lie à la question, lancinante en Algérie, de gouvernance territoriale. Cet article aborde la question des conditions de possibilité de dépassement de la crise de gouvernance en Kabylie. Par le moyen de la perspective diachronique dynamique, il vise à vérifier l’hypothèse de corrélation positive, dans le contexte de la Kabylie, entre la réactivation des patrimoines institutionnels locaux, notamment la tajmaεt en tant qu’instrument de bonne gouvernance territoriale, et la réussite du passage de l’état de crise à l’état de développement durable par la régulation solidaire d’autonomisation.
