Fighting Illicit Speculation: Mechanisms Established Under law 21/15

Abstract
Given the surge of some illegal practices; such as hoarding and concealing goods for illegal gain purposes and creating scarcity in the market, caused by some economic operators in the national market, prices have tremendously increased that law articles are no longer able to fight against this crime. Therefore, the legislator issued law 21-15 on 12/28/2021, related to fighting against illegal speculation in order to enforce the legal framework with new mechanisms to deter those who are committing these acts, that constitute a crime, and to impose penal sanctions to eradicate this phenomenon.
