As a modern principle, it is necessary to examine international conventions and conventions, whether contained in the Charter of the United Nations or in the rules and provisions of international humanitarian law in the common article III of the Geneva Conventions or what is contained in the Protocol attached to them Additional II of 1977. It is also necessary to identify the crimes covered by the scope of the principle of the responsibility to protect, which are identified in four crimes, which are among the most severe crimes in the world, namely genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes of ethnic cleansing.
