الملخص

تتناول هذه الورقة البحثية مفهوم قيمة العمل عند الطالب الجامعي من خلال معرفة أهم المحددات المشكلة لهذه القيمة. فالطالب خلال مسيرته الدراسية دائم التفكير والتركيز على تحديد مساراته المهنيةـ؛ والتي تحكمها قيم ومعتقدات فردية من جهة، تترجمها الاهتمامات والميول، توقعات وطموحات مستقبلية متمثلة في تحقيق الاستقلالية المالية، الاستقرار ومدى تناسب الفرص المتاحة مع التخصص الأكاديمي المعبرة عن الذات. ومن جهة أخرى، تحكمها قيم ومعتقدات مجتمعية كالخلفية الثقافية للمجتمع وما يروجه الإعلام عن العمل. هذه العوامل وأخرى تساهم في تشكيل مفهوم قيمة العمل عند الطالب الذي يبنى عليه اختياره المهني لاحقا عند التحاقه بعالم الشغل. ولقد توصلت دراستنا إلى أن قيمة العمل عند الطالب بناء على اختياره تحكمها أولا عوامل مادية، ثم العوامل الشخصية ثم في المرحلة الثالثة العوامل الاجتماعية. This research paper explores the concept of work value among university students by identifying the main factors shaping this value. Throughout their academic journey, students constantly reflect on and define their future career paths, which are shaped by personal values and beliefs. These are expressed through their interests, preferences, expectations, and aspirations for the future—particularly the pursuit of financial independence, stability, and the alignment of available opportunities with their academic specialization and sense of self. At the same time, societal values and beliefs—such as cultural background and media portrayals of work—also play a significant role. These factors, among others, contribute to shaping the concept of work value for university students, a concept that significantly influences their professional choices when they enter the labor market. Our study found that students' perceptions of work value are shaped primarily by material factors, followed by personal factors, and lastly by social factors.
