Authors : Anichel Abdallah . Yahiaoui Houcine .

Abstract

this study aims to examine the impact of electronic payment methods on the financial performance of an economic institution. This is achieved by exploring the relationship between electronic payment methods, using customer value as a suitable indicator according to our estimation, and the revenues or income of the Ooredoo economic institution as a measure of its financial performance. The study was applied to the Qatari economic institution Ooredoo used from 2017 to 2024. We employed statistical significance testing to verify that the correlation between the two variables was statistically significant, as well as linear regression analysis to understand the nature of their relationship. Additionally, we relied on the Granger causality test to interpret the obtained results. Ultimately, we concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between electronic payment methods and the financial performance of the targeted institution. This means that electronic payment methods improve the institution's financial performance in the long term
