الملخص
توقفت دائرة المعارف الإسلامية في مقالاتها عن الامام الحسن (ع) تبعاً لمقاصد واهداف المستشرقين فمنهم من اورد الكثير من المغالطات التاريخية وهو يتحدث عن شخص الامام الحسن (ع) وسيرته في ظل حكم الإمام علي (ع) وبعد ان آلت الامور اليه كخليفة شرعي وقضية تنازله عن السلطة لمعاوية ، ولعل هذه المحطات السياسية المهمة وقفت بجانبها محطات اجتماعية تتعلق بشخصية الامام الحسن في بعدها الاجتماعي كسلوكه في مسالة الزواج والطلاق وتعامله مع اتباعه وفقا لما ورد في مقالات المستشرقين ولعل الجانب الايجابي الذي رصدناه في دائرة المعارف ان هناك مقالات قد اتسمت ببعض المصداقية ولاحقت الحقائق وعرجت على أبرز المفاصل الحيوية التي دونت سيرة الامام الحسن (ع) بإنصاف ومصداقية . إن أهمية هذا البحث تنطلق من كون ان دائرة المعارف الاسلامية تعد منهلاً مهماً من المناهل الفكرية في التاريخ الاسلامي والتي يقصدها معظم الباحثين في هذا الشأن وبهدف بيان مواضع الوهن ومواضع القوة الواردة في الدائرة والمتعلقة بشخصية الامام الحسن(ع) لا بد من التركيز على تلك المقالات في سلبها وايجابها لا سيما اذا عرفنا ان الامام الحسن(ع) مظلوم من قِبل مؤرخي العرب فكيف الحال بالمستشرقين الغرب وكيفية دراستهم عنه . The Encyclopedia of Islam has neglected its articles on Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) in accordance with the aims and objectives of Orientalists. Some of them have included many historical inaccuracies when discussing the person of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) and his life under the rule of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), after he assumed the position of legitimate caliph, and the issue of his abdication of power to Muawiyah. Perhaps these important political events were accompanied by social events related to the personality of Imam Hassan in its social dimension, such as his behavior in the matter of marriage and divorce and his dealings with his followers, according to what was stated in the Orientalists' articles. Perhaps the positive aspect that we observed in the encyclopedia is that there are articles that are characterized by some credibility, pursue the facts, and touch upon the most important vital aspects that documented the life of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) with fairness and credibility. The importance of this research stems from the fact that the Islamic Encyclopedia is an important source of intellectual resources in Islamic history, which is sought by most researchers in this regard. With the aim of clarifying the weak and strong points mentioned in the Encyclopedia and related to the personality of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him), it is necessary to focus on those articles, both negative and positive, especially if we know that Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) is wronged by Arab historians, so what about the situation of Western Orientalists and how they study him
