الملخص

يعدّ عبد الحميد بن باديس (1889–1940) رائداً في حماية الهوية الوطنية الجزائرية في ظل الاستعمار الذي كان يسعى إلى محو مقومات الشعب. فقد أسس الجمعية الدينية للإصلاح والنادي الثقافي والنشرات التربوية لتكوين الأجيال على أسس إسلامية ووطنية، مع التركيز على اللغة العربية والثقافة الوطنية، وتوفير التعليم الحديث ضمن سياق يخدم الذاكرة الجماعية ويعزز التمسك بالهوية الأصلية. كما أنّه له دور محوری في نشر الوعي بأهمية التضامن والانتماء للوطن ومحاربة محاولات التفرقة والطمس الثقافي. يهدف هذا المقال إلى إبراز تلك الإسهامات التنويرية التي كان لها الأثر البالغ في تكوين الوعي الجماعي وتوفير أسس صلبة لبناء شخصية وطنية قوية قائمة على القيم الثقافية والحضارية الأصلية في عصر التحديات. Abdelhamid Ben Badis (1889–1940) is considered a pioneer in protecting Algerian national identity under French colonialism, which sought to erase the people’s cultural foundations. He established the Religious Association for Reform, the Cultural Club, and educational journals to prepare generations based on Islamic and national principles, with a strong emphasis on the Arabic language, national culture, and modern education that serves collective memory and strengthens attachment to the original identity. He also played a pivotal role in spreading awareness about the importance of solidarity and belonging to the nation, and in resisting attempts at division and cultural erasure. This article aims to highlight these enlightening contributions, which had a significant impact on shaping collective consciousness and laying a strong foundation for building a robust national character anchored in its cultural and civilizational values in the era of challenges.
