Abstract
Abstract: Sustainable development is a highly relevant issue in a global environment that demands ethical conduct in international relations within the framework of economic development, giving importance to the environment, social justice, and social solidarity. This article addresses one aspect of this concept by presenting the factors that influence the localization of urban agriculture, as well as some theories and models that explain this localization, notably the Johann Heinrich von Thunen model.
