This article explores a philosophical perspective on the body. This subject has long sparked intellectual and religious debates. It has also attracted attention across many academic fields, including communication studies. Rather than viewing the body only as a biological entity, the article discusses its role as a silent language that facilitates human connection. This paper also examines the commodification of the body in the media and advertising industries, with a specific focus on the marketing of idealized body types. This practice raises important ethical questions, especially given recent advances in biotechnology that erase the distinction between biology and technology. These developments have motivated researchers to reconsider issues related to body ethics, body construction, and the concept of the post human. Ultimately, the article invites readers to consider how cultural, ethical, and technological shifts are reshaping the meaning and significance of the body today.
