This study examines the impact of agricultural investment on sectoral growth in Algeria from 1990 to 2022. Using an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model, we analyse the short- and long-term effects of agricultural investment, labour, and irrigated land on domestic agricultural production. The findings confirm the existence of a long-run relationship among the variables, indicating that investment significantly enhances agricultural production growth. In the short run, investment has an immediate positive effect, while agricultural labour and irrigated land exhibit mixed impacts. However, in the long run, all three variables positively contribute to agricultural growth, with investment playing the most dominant role.
