المستشرقون والسنة الشريفة: عرض ونقد من خلال عينات

الملخص
اهتمام المستشرقين بالسنة والحديث الشريفين كان مرتبطا بالطعن في عصمة النبي محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام ومصدر الوحي. وكانت مناهجهم متنوعة ظاهريا، تصب كلها في البحث في تفاصيل العلوم الاسلامية المرتبطة بالسيرة والحديث عن محطات ومواقع ينفذ منها شكهم وطعنهم. من جانب آخر اهتم بعض المستشرقين بتيسير الوصول إلى الأحاديث والسيرة للمستشرقين والباحثين الغربيين والتأليف في هذا الاتجاه، حتى أضحت هذه الكتابات هي المصدر الحصري. هل استطاع المسلمون توفير المادة العلمية حول الحديث والسيرة للباحثين، مدعمة بالشروح العلمية الدقيقة، مع الردود المحينة على شبهات المستشرقين ومن اتبعهم في المنهج من المسلمين: لم يعد المسلمون يتمتعون بحرية الاختيار إذ أضحى الدفاع عن الحديث والسيرة فرض عين لمن اجتهد وعلم التحديات الدينية والأخلاقية والمعرفية، التي تحيد بهاتين الركيزتين للدين الإسلامي. The attention and the interest of Orientalists in the Sunnah and Hadith was related to questioning the infallibility of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the source of revelation. Their methodologies were apparently diverse but ultimately aimed at scrutinizing the details of Islamic sciences related to the Prophet’s biography and Hadith, seeking points of doubt and criticism. Never the less, some Orientalists focused on facilitating access to Hadith and the Prophet’s biography for Western researchers, producing works in this direction to the extent that these writings became the exclusive source on the subject. Thus, have Muslims been able to provide well-researched academic material on Hadith and the Prophet’s biography, supported by precise scholarly explanations and updated responses to the doubts raised by Orientalists and those who followed their methodology among Muslims? Then, Muslims have no choice except defending the Hadith and the Prophet’s biography which become an individual obligation for anyone who is aware of the religious, ethical, and intellectual challenges threatening these two pillars of Islam.
