The pre-Islamic poetry is considered as a theatrical performance and a stare scene where interact both the harsh Saharan nature and the poet genius, giving birth to harmonious and poetic images that are displayed in such artistic way, holding expressive values as well as esthetical component which lead the pre-Islamic Arabian poem to maturity, clarity and rhetoric. In order to identify the illocutionary indicators and the aesthetic pillars used for description in the pre-Islamic poetry, the poem of Oubaid Ibn El-Abras (Description of Lightning and Rain) (wasfe el barak wa el matar) has been selected as a practical study since it displays these indicators, trying to answer the question how do they occur as a poetic image which tangled both the audio-visual images aiming to reveal some of the esthetic features of description that occur in the poetic discourse through artistic features.
