Through this research paper, we sought to define the role of Islamic banking institutions as purposeful social entities that aim to achieve their goals within the framework of their openness to the external environment. They influence and are influenced by the external environment, and thus strive to achieve a balance between themselves and society within the framework of what is known as social solidarity. This is achieved by integrating the needs of society with their contributions of all kinds, whether material or moral. This is achieved by addressing societal crises, which contributes to improving their image among their customers, employees, and various stakeholders. This study also seeks to address the experience of the Al Baraka Islamic Group by identifying the group's role in social responsibility within its branches and surrounding areas.
