This study explores the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a catalyst for competitiveness through the synergy of digital intelligence and agile governance. Focusing on two leading European industrial groups, Siemens and Alstom, the research adopts a comparative qualitative methodology based on multiple case studies. Six key dimensions are evaluated: digital strategic alignment, technological infrastructure, digital governance, agile culture, customer-centered innovation, and cross-functional integration. Data was collected through a triangulation of sources (annual reports, academic publications, and professional interviews), analyzed between October 2023 and February 2024. The results reveal that Siemens integrates ICT in a systemic and agile manner, fostering superior innovative performance and organizational resilience, while Alstom, with a more fragmented approach, limits its transformative potential. The study emphasizes that the strategic integration of ICT, combined with agile governance and a culture of continuous learning, is essential to sustaining competitive advantage in a volatile digital environment.
