ملخص:تسعى هذه الورقة البحثية الى دراسة اللباس التقليدي للمرأة في مدينة الأغواط من منظور انثروبولوجي يجمع بين المقاربة الوظيفية والسيميائية، وهذا باعتباره مؤشر ثقافي وأداة للتواصل غير اللفظي تبرز الهوية الثقافية والاجتماعية للأفراد والجماعات، ووسيلة كاشفة للمعتقدات والقيم الجماعية، وذلك من خلال المعاني والدلالات الرمزية التي يحملها ضمن الممارسات اليومية والطقوسية، عن طريق جملة من الخصائص المادية المميزة لكل عنصر كاللون ونوع القماش ومصدر اقتنائه، والمناسبة الخاصة بكل عنصر ناهيك عن وظائفه المتغيرة حسب السياقات الثقافية والاجتماعية، وهذا في اطار تسجيل عناصر اللباس التقليدي النسوي في الاغواط خاصة في خضم التغيرات الاجتماعية والثقافية التي عرفها المجتمع المحلي، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم الاعتماد على المنهج الكيفي وتقنية المقابلة مع مجموعة من النساء الكبيرات في السن، الى جانب الصورة الفوتوغرافية التي ترجع الى الحقبة الاستعمارية والتي تظهر بدورها اللباس التقليدي في صورته الأصلية، كما حاولت هذا الدراسة التركيز على العناصر التي تحمل دلالات قوية ومعبرة عن الجوانب القيمية والمعتقدات ووسائل الضبط والسلطة. This research paper aims to examine the traditional costume of women in laghouat, from an anthropological perspective that integrates both functionalist and semiotic approaches; the traditional costume is considered a cultural indicator and a non-verbal communication tool, that reflects the cultural and social identity of individuals and groups, as well as a medium through which collective beliefs and values, are revealed. This is explored through the symbolic meanings and connotations conveyed by the costume in both everyday and ritual practices, based on a set of material characteristics specific to each garment;, such as color, fabric type, origin of acquisition, and the occasion for which it is worn, along with its changing functions across different cultural and social contexts; the study is situated within the broader objective of documenting the elements of traditional women’s costume in laghouat, especially in light of socio-cultural changes experienced by the local community; to achieve its objectives, the study adopts a qualitative methodology, utilizing interviews with elderly women, alongside photographic archives from the colonial era that depict the traditional attire in its original form; The research particularly focuses on clothing elements that carry strong symbolic meanings related to values, beliefs, and mechanisms of social control and authority.
