The Factors Involved In The Compensation System Based On Competencies In The Public Hospital Institution - Factor Analysis-based Structural Equation Modeling (cb-sem).

Abstract

The objective of this study is to employ structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) for data factor analysis. This approach permits the identification of factors included in the compensation system on the basis of competencies within the Algerian public hospital institution. To this end, a questionnaire was administered to a random sample of unit officials in the hospital institution. The estimated sample size was 13. The study employed statistical processing in the SPSS and Smart PLS programs, as well as the method of factor analysis (exploratory and confirmatory), to identify the key factors influencing the compensation system based on competencies in the institution under study. The findings revealed that two main factors emerged as crucial in this context: motivation and retention, and competency development.
