Abstract: Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of both the health and security sectors, offering transformative solutions to improve service delivery and enhance efficiency. However, the increasing use of AI brings forth significant legal challenges, particularly concerning privacy, accountability, and the protection of human rights. This presentation examines the legal landscape governing AI in these two critical sectors, exploring the regulatory approaches that aim to balance technological advancements with the need to safeguard individual rights. In the health sector, AI is reshaping patient care, from diagnostics to treatment plans, raising concerns about the ethical implications of data use, transparency in decision-making, and the accountability of AI-driven medical tools. And also, the security sector faces challenges in balancing AI's potential for enhancing public safety with the risk of infringing on personal freedoms, privacy, and civil liberties. This presentation analyzes existing legal frameworks, highlights the differences in how AI is regulated in health and security, and evaluates their effectiveness in addressing the complexities and risks associated with these technologies
