التحصينات الدفاعية وأثرها على الحياة الاجتماعية في تلمسان الزيانية

الملخص
شيد ملوك الدولة الزيانية استحكامات دفاعية قوية لمجابهة الأحداث التاريخية والغزوات المستمرة على تلمسان، حيث لا تزال معالمها شاهدة على دورها في حماية وتنمية المدينة، وحفظ عرض وأموال سكانها. وقد تنوعت هذه التحصينات وفق ما اقتضته الضرورة الأمنية لذلك، كالأسوار والأبراج والبوابات. وبعد توفير الأمن والاستقرار انصرفت السلطة إلى الإصلاحات الاجتماعية والعناية بالمرافق العامة، كإنشاء المدارس والمساجد والزوايا والمستشفيات، وغيرها من العمائر التي عكست استقرار الأوضاع بالمدينة. فأدى الرخاء إلى جذب أهل الصنائع والعلوم من مناطق مختلفة وظهر التخصص في الأعمال والتفنن في الصناعات، كما ظهرت الأرباض خارج أسوار تلمسان كون المساحة الداخلية لم تعد تلبي حاجة الأفراد المتزايدة. وعليه فان التحصينات الدفاعية تعمل في بادئ الأمر على توفير الأمن والاستقرار ثم سرعان ما تظهر نتائج هذا الأمن بتحقيق الرفاهية التي تؤدي في المراحل اللاحقة إلى التنعم المفرط، وإهمال المبادئ والتخلي عن الفضائل، مما يحدث الضعف الذي يؤدي إلى الموت في الأمم. Abstract: The Sultans of the Zian state built strong defensive fortifications to confront the historical events and the continuous invasions of Tlemcen, as its monuments still bear witness to its role in protecting and developing the city and preserving the supply and money of its residents. These fortifications varied according to the security necessity for that, such as walls, towers, and gates. After providing security and stability, the authority turned to social reforms and taking care of public utilities, such as establishing schools, mosques, corners, hospitals and other buildings that reflected the stability of the situation in the city. Prosperity attracted people of artifacts and sciences from different regions, specialization in business and artistry appeared in industries, and lands outside the walls of Tlemcen appeared as the internal space no longer met the increasing needs of individuals. Accordingly, defensive fortifications work at first to provide security and stability, and then soon the results of this security will emerge by achieving prosperity that leads in later stages to excessive blessing, neglect of principles and abandonment of virtues, which leads to weakness that leads to death in nations.
