Combating Corruption Via Guidelines Pertaining To Whistle-blowers Protection

Abstract

Whistleblowers, typically employees, report illegal, unethical, unsafe, or fraudulent activities within organizations. Protection approaches vary across jurisdictions, with some governments providing consistent protection, while others, like France, Japan, and the UK, have varying levels of protection through legislation and state laws. Whistleblower legislation often lack seriousness, posing retaliatory measures. Countries have to implement best practices and effective approaches to protect whistleblowers from such retaliatory measures.
