الملخص
الملخص تعد المجلة التاريخية الإفريقية من أهم المجلات التاريخية الشاملة التي سطرت بداية مرحلة الكتابة التاريخية الحديثة في الجزائر اهتمت بتاريخ البلاد عبر مختلف عصورها، وساهم أصحابها في إثراء البيبليوغرافيا التاريخية الجزائرية بأعمال ثرية ورائدة، بالرغم من كون هذه المجلة قد رافقت الاحتلال الفرنسي للجزائر، وتبنت بصورة أكاديمية الأطروحات الاستعمارية، ورغم ذلك فإن قيمتها العلمية والتاريخية قائمة، فما هو ياترى الهدف من إنشاء هذه المجلة؟ وما هي الاسباب التي جعلت الفرنسيين يهتمون بتاريخ الجزائر ومنذ متى بدأ اهتمامهم بالموضوع؟ وكذلك علينا أن نتساءل عن محتويات هذه المجلة ورؤساؤها والمؤرخين الذين كتبوا فيها؟ وطبيعة المواضيع التي تكررت لديهم؟ ولماذا استمر صدورها حتى 1961 وما هو حظ المؤرخين المسلمين من الكتابة فيها؟ Summary The African Historical Journal (Revue Africaine) is considered one of the most important comprehensive historical journals that marked the beginning of the modern phase of historical writing in Algeria. It focused on the country's history across its various eras, and its contributors enriched the Algerian historical bibliography with valuable and pioneering works. Despite the fact that this journal emerged during the period of French occupation of Algeria and academically adopted colonial theses, its scientific and historical value remains significant. This raises several questions: What, then, was the objective behind the establishment of this journal? What were the reasons that led the French to take an interest in Algerian history, and when did this interest begin? Furthermore, it is necessary to examine the contents of the journal, its editors-in-chief, the historians who contributed to it, and the recurring themes they addressed. Why did the journal continue to be published until 1961? And what role did Muslim historians have in contributing to its content?
