This study explores the growing role of Neo-Eurasianist thought in reshaping Russia's foreign policy from a civilizational and cultural perspective. Emerging as an ideological framework that rejects Western dominance, Neo-Eurasianism emphasizes Russia's unique identity as a Eurasian power that bridges the East and the West. The study analyzes how this worldview is utilized to shape Russia’s external behavior, particularly toward its regional surroundings and global rivals. The central hypothesis is that Neo-Eurasianism functions as a civilizational and strategic determinant in Russian foreign policy by promoting the notion of "Russia as a distinct civilizational world" and embedding historical and cultural narratives into its international relations. The paper employs political discourse analysis and case studies—such as Russia’s policies in Ukraine and Central Asia—to investigate the influence of this ideological current. The study concludes that Neo-Eurasianism represents a blend of geopolitical ambitions and civilizational motives. It has increasingly become part of Russia’s strategy to reclaim its global standing by offering an alternative identity model to Western liberalism, aiming to build alliances based on shared cultural and geographical foundations
