This research paper attempts to shed light on the phenomenon of irregular migration and its repercussions on the economies of European countries, as the illegal movement of individuals from their countries to European countries results from a number of factors, most notably the economic motive, as a result of the lack of development in developing countries and their inability to improve the living conditions of their citizens, which creates a state of alienation for some individuals that prompts them to flee their living reality to economically strong European countries in the hope of achieving their ambitions for a decent life. However, the spread of this phenomenon and the increase in its pace may result in a number of repercussions on the economies of European countries, some of which contribute to driving the wheel of growth and economic development in a positive manner, while on the other hand, irregular migration may have harmful effects on the European economy.
