الملخص
ملخص: تتطرق هذه الدراسة إلى تبيين الواقع الديني في مدينة سيرتا سنة 303م اعتماداً على التحقيقات الواردة في محضر الحاكم العام لمدينة سيرتا موناتيوس فيليكس،حيث تناولنا ضمن هذه الورقة البحثية بداية الصراع بين الوثنية والمسيحية في المدينة وكيف تعاملت السلطة الرومانية في مع المجتمع من خلال استعمال القوة العسكرية والمحاكم العسكرية ،كما أشرنا في هذا المقال إلى الأسماء الواردة في المحضر (رجال دين ) بمختلف رتبهم،كما تطرقنا أيضا إلى المحجوزات الواردة في المحضر، وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى كشف عن الأحداث التاريخية في مدينة سيرتا من خلال المحاضر العسكرية وجعلها كمصدر من مصادر الكتابة التاريخية،ومن النتائج المحصل عليها هو أن الصراع الديني الذي كان في المدينة خصوصا والمقاطعات الرومانية عموما كان سببا من أسباب تراجع السلطة الرومانية في أفريقيا الرومانيا وبداية انهيارها. Abstract: This study examines the religious landscape of the city of Cirta in the year 303 AD, relying on the investigations recorded in the official report of the city's governor, Munatius Felix. The paper explores the early stages of the conflict between paganism and Christianity in Cirta and how the Roman authorities managed this societal struggle through military force and judicial proceedings. Additionally, it highlights the names of religious figures mentioned in the report, detailing their various ranks, as well as the confiscated items listed in the records. The study aims to uncover historical events in Cirta through military reports and establish them as a valuable source for historical writing. One of the key findings is that the religious conflict within the city—and in Roman provinces more broadly—played a significant role in weakening Roman authority in Roman Africa and contributed to its eventual decline
