Abstract
: If modernity relates to change and innovation recently in connection with various modalities of people's lives, then lexical modernity relates to the renewal of the field of lexicography in the modern era. Dictionaries are no longer limited to what happened previously in ancient times, they are placed on along with it and in the spirit of the contemporary era. This connection is reflected in both the content and the techniques used to collect and organize lexical material. Lexical modernity involves a comprehensive grasp of modern words, usages, expressions, and meanings employed across different fields and disciplines, with particular attention given to cultural vocabulary, the names of tools and instruments, and the terminology required by any speaker or learner of Arabic to express themselves in this language
