الملخص
ملخص: أثار الاستشراق ولا يزال يثير جدلا ساخنا في الأوساط العلميّة والأدبيّة، لم احتواه من مسائل متعدّدة، تحاول فهم هذه الظاهرة فهما علميّا بعيدا عن التّعصّب والولاء، فسلك في ذلك مسالك عدّة في دراسته للتراث العربي وتأثره به، من خلال معرفة ماهيته وماهية لغته وأصحابه، محاولين الوصول إلى الحقيقة والإجابة عن التّساؤلات التي طالما شغلت عقولهم وأقامت الجدل بينهم. وفي هذا المسار المعرفي تشعبت القراءات والرؤى في الصّلات التي ظلت قائمة، فمنهم مفكرون وأدباء عرب بارزون خاضوا في هذا الدّرب وحاولوا إنارة المسائل التي ظلّت عالقة حوله. Abstract: Orientalism remains a subject of intense scholarly debate in both fields of science and humanities, largely due to its engagement with a variety of complex issues that tried to understand and explain this phenomenon through a scientific lens, detached from ideological bias or allegiance. In doing so, orientalist approaches were used to examine Arab heritage which eventually influenced orientalism itself throughout probing the nature of the concept, the language it employs, and the figures that have shaped its discourse, with the ultimate goal of uncovering truths and addressing questions that have long preoccupied intellectuals and generated considerable debate amongst them. In this intellectual trajectory, a multiplicity of readings and perspectives have emerged. Notable Arab thinkers and writers have actively engaged with these discourses, attempting to illuminate unresolved issues surrounding Orientalism.
