Developing An Entrepreneurship Education Model For Pre-university Students: A Framework For Cultivating Entrepreneurs In Algeria

Authors : Bouterfas Mohammed Amine . Belarbi Abdelkader .

Abstract

Recent developments at global, societal, organizational, and individual levels underscore the urgent need to foster entrepreneurial mindsets. Despite its critical role in advancing knowledge-based economies, entrepreneurship education remains underdeveloped in the Arab world, particularly in Algeria. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education across all academic levels, from primary to university education. It proposes a comprehensive framework based on key elements such as learning environment, vision, mission, strategic goals, and core values. The research addresses two central questions: To what extent can an entrepreneurship education program reduce perceived barriers among students, and how does it enhance their ability to launch and sustain entrepreneurial ventures? The findings aim to provide actionable insights for policymakers and educators to promote entrepreneurial culture and economic growth.
