Abstract

The Central Maghreb is regarded as a pivotal area in the emergence of cities within the Islamic Maghreb, leaving a significant historical legacy since its beginnings. Miliana stands out as one of the most notable cities in the region, frequently mentioned in various geographical and historical texts due to its strategic significance and the vital role it has played in the Central Maghreb. يُعتبر المغرب الأوسط منطقة محورية في ظهور المدن داخل المغرب الإسلامي، حيث ترك إرثًا تاريخيًا كبيرًا منذ بداياته. تبرز مليانة كواحدة من أبرز المدن في المنطقة، وغالبًا ما تُذكر في مختلف النصوص الجغرافية والتاريخية نظرًا لأهميتها الاستراتيجية والدور الحيوي الذي لعبته في المغرب الأوسط.
